Description:
With the current economic situation, high rates of foreclosure, and staggering unemployment numbers in southern Nevada and across the United States, the number of homeless individuals and families is increasing. Right now there are roughly 13,000 homeless individuals and families in southern Nevada. Preventing Homelessness Connect is an event that will allow individuals and families to get connected with the resources they need. Services range from legal resources to jobs and housing. Preventing Homelessness Connect provides the tools to overcome housing/economic barriers and increase sustainability.
